Graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology, Poland, with a Ph.D. in systems analysis. He is a professor of computer science at the Systems Research Institute. He is an engineer and mathematician, notable for his multiple contributions to the field of computational and artificial intelligence tools like fuzzy sets, mathematical optimization, decision making under uncertainty, computational intelligence, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, data analysis and data mining, with applications in databases, ICT, mobile robotics and others.
Ajai Gaur is Dean’s Eminent Research Professor and Chair of the Department of Management and Global Business at Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick, Rutgers University. Ajai is currently serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of World Business and a consulting editor at the Journal of International Business Studies. He was elected as the President of the Asia Academy of Management for two terms from 2015 to 2019. In 2021, Ajai was elected as a fellow of the Academy of International Business.
Professor and Chair of the Department of International Business at Quinnipiac University, CT, USA, he obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Texas-Pan American. He held teaching positions in various countries including Bangladesh, Canada, China, USA, Mexico, Ireland, Egypt, and France. He has published in a number of reputed international business journals and presented his work in the US as well as in various other countries of the world.
Joanicjusz Nazarko (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. and D.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Warsaw University of Technology, Poland.,He is a Full Professor of both technical and economic sciences, Ordinary Member of the Polish Academy of Engineering, and Member of the Production Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is currently serving as the Director of International China and Central-Eastern Europe Institute of Logistics and Service Science at the Bialystok University of Technology, Poland. He also holds the posts of Professeur Associé with the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Trois-Rivières, QC, Canada, and Honorary Professor with Zhejiang University Ningbo Institute of Technology, Ningbo, China. He has authored or co-authored more than 300 technical and scholarly works published in reputable journals. He regularly speaks and presents his work at numerous international conferences. He has coordinated many research projects, obtained grants, and scholarships from national and international institutions.
Professor of Accounting and Financial Management and the Research Lead of Accounting and Financial Management in the Faculty of Business and Law, published more than 100 articles in Peer-reviewed journals. written a number of book chapters and I have edited a textbook on corporate governance in emerging economics, experienced PhD supervisor with thirty-six completions, experienced PhD examiner with eighty-one examinations (69 external and 12 internal examinations).
Distinguished University Professor and Professor of Management, Director, School of International Management, Eberly college of Business, at Indian University of Pennsylvania. He serves as a Executive Director of the American Society for Competitiveness. Ali has served as a visiting professor at King Saud University, University of Sharjah, and as a senior Fulbright Scholar at the University of Jordan.
Ihsan Zakri is Regional Head, Middle East and Africa at AACSB International. At AACSB he works with both the Executive vice president/Chief Officer Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and the Chief Accreditation officer to develop and implement integrated accreditation and member service and engagement initiatives in the EMEA region. He serves as a staff liaison for over 160 schools in EMEA region. Ihsan has an international background in higher education, program and Institutional accreditation and course and program development. He gained extensive experience in accreditation and EU funded projects before joining AACSB. Ihsan has earned a Master’s degree in Social Sciences with a concentration on the Middle East from Lund University, Sweden.
Associate Professor and the Head of Doctoral Studies in Interdisciplinary Doctoral Studies at Faculty of Engineering Management, Bialystok University of Technology, Poland. She obtained her Ph.D of management sciences from the University of Warsaw and the Postdoctoral Degree of Technical Sciences in Mechanical Engineering from Cracow University of Technology. She has a number of publications in reputable journals and participated in selected research projects.
Vincenzo Corvello, PhD, is associate professor at the Department of Engineering, University of Messina. He holds a PhD in Business and Economic Engineering from the University Federico II of Naples. He teaches Innovation Management, Strategy and Organization and Project Management. His research interests are in the fields innovation management and organizational theory. His research has been published in international journals (e.g. Technovation, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Business Research, Review of Managerial Science). He is co-founder and has been CEO of Beautiful Mind S.r.l., a software development company, official spin-off of the University of Calabria. His research has been supported by national and international research grants. He is editor in chief of the European Journal of Innovation Management.
Josep Alzamora is an expert in business competitiveness who has developed -over the last 20 years- the syncplexity model, specially designed for hypercompetitive environments, whose substantive concept is a particular vision of prestige. A pioneer in his sector, the model is being adopted by companies and entities in several countries and different business sectors. Mr. Alzamora has worked with experts from the University of Cambridge (UK) and has given lectures organized by institutions such as the Swiss Association of Business Organization and Management (in Geneva and Lausanne), the Swiss Statistical Society, the Fordham University (NYC) in the framework of the Annual International Research Seminar of the Deming Institute, or the American Competitiveness Association (Washington DC), among others. Some of the ideas proposed by the syncplexity model are embodied in two works by Mr. Alzamora: Preliminary Complex Realities (2015) and Realidades Complejas (2015).
Dr. Giovanni Cerulli is research director at IRCrES-CNR, Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth, National Research Council of Italy, Unit of Rome. His research interest is in applied econometrics, with a special focus on causal inference, program evaluation, and machine learning applied to various fields of socio-economic science. Giovanni has developed original causal inference models, such as dose-response and treatment models with social interaction providing Stata implementation. He has developed around twenty Stata commands for casual inference and machine learning, working also on Stata/Python/R integration for this purpose. Giovanni is author of the book Econometric Evaluation of Socio-Economic Programs: Theory and Applications (Springer, 2015; second edition 2022), and of the book Fundamentals of Supervised Machine Learning: with Applications in Python, R, and Stata (Springer, 2023).
